6. Present continuous

Present continuous describes an action that is happening right now (either while it is being discussed or more generally in the present time) or is just about to happen. Present continuous is made by adding the present tense of the verb be and the suffix -ing to the verb:

Harry is eating.
We are rehearsing a new play in the drama club.
The plane is landing soon.
