Would you like to learn a new language whenever you choose?
Did you know that you can use WordDive on several different devices – a computer, a tablet and a smartphone? The most convenient way to practise the language on a mobile device is by using the mobile app you can download from an app store.
The WordDive app is available for Android and iOS devices.
Download the app and you can do your daily exercise anytime, anywhere: lying in a hammock, during a coffee break, on a business trip… The next day, you can pick up where you left off – your results are automatically saved.
WordDive app update coming soonÂ
The WordDive app will be updated in 2025. The update will bring new features requested by our users. All users will be migrated to the new app in stages. Please read the instructions below to update and start using the new app.

App update
If you have selected automatic app updates in your app store settings, the new version of the app will be automatically installed on your device. If your apps are not updated automatically, you will need to update them manually. You will recognize the new app by the number 5.5. Read the instructions below to update the app.
Updating the app will not affect your learning progress.
Updating the app on an Android device
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- At the top right, tap the profile icon.
- Tap Manage apps & device.
- Under “Updates available,” tap See details.
- Next to WordDive app, tap Update.
Updating the app on an Apple device
Please note that the update is not yet available for Apple devices.
- Open the App Store.
- Tap the My Account button or your photo at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to WordDive app.
New features in the app
The app has been updated based on our customers’ wishes and feedback.
App settings
- Change the colour theme of the app.
- Change the colour contrast between the text and the background.Â
- Change the text size.
- Adjust the volume and speed of the audio recordings in the exercises.Â
- Adjust the intensity of the sound effects.
The volume levels within the application act as a multiplier for the system volume. They are used to adjust the volume levels in relation to each other and to other applications. The final volume is always adjusted from the system, i.e., the device.

- Hide the images displayed in the exercises.
- Change the keyboard you use.
- Set yourself a weekly practice goal.Â
Practice
- View course content.
- View the grammar pages.
- Give feedback on individual exercises.
- You can listen to music while practicing.
Practicing in the new app
After updating the app, you can start practising. Log in with your existing username and password or register as a new user.
The course content and study material are the same, only the visual features of the exercises have changed.
Change the language you are studying by tapping the flag icon in the top left corner. In the same view, you can see the prices and read more about our matriculation exam prep courses.
Select your goal and level by tapping the circular icon in the top right corner of the course list view.
Select the course you want to take in the course list view. After selecting a course, you can read more about its contents.
