WordDive activates your brain in multiple ways through every possible sense. You will be seeing, thinking, reading, writing, listening and pronouncing.
First you are presented with a picture that will lead you to think of the thing you are learning. If you know or can guess the word, you will write, listen and pronounce next.
If you don't know the word yet, you can translate and listen to it. Pressing Try will show the right answer, which you will then write. Writing reinforces learning and also ensures that you read the word correctly. Finally, you will listen and pronounce.
Next comes an example where the word is presented in a natural context and where it can also be conjugated. The examples have been selected so that reading, hearing and saying them aloud will help you learn. Sentence structures, grammar and common phrases will become familiar through the examples. They will also increase your vocabulary.
All this means that depending on your answer, the same study item is repeated 6-11 times on each try. You will feel like you had to work much less than your brain really did.
Using multiple senses forms a fast and permanent memory imprint. You will not feel like you are repeating the same thing over and over: learning will happen naturally.
Some of us learn best when we see things (visual learner), others want to listen to things (auditive learner) and some like to learn by doing (kinesthetic learner). WordDive suits everybody because it uses a combination of these learning styles. Combining more than one learning style in a natural way is also a quick way to learn and leads into versatile language skills.
