Data Scientist, Marketing

To continue improving our marketing performance with data, we are now looking for a business-minded and curious data scientist to join our Marketing team. Your role is to support data-driven marketing decisions by using our database of rich user data to produce insights to guide marketing operations.

  • Modeling user behaviour, media performance and attribution
  • Designing automated solutions to improve ways of performance marketing and advertising using your statistics, machine learning, and programming skills
  • Ensuring the quality of our tracking and data
  • Working with and guide other team members in data science projects that are of more technical nature
  • Bridge the gap from data and analysis to critical business decisions
  • Developing models and algorithms that increase the efficiency in decision making and drive higher ROI
  • Developing forecasts and analyzing A/B tests to provide product insight and guide future product development
  • Developing marketing experiments to create and optimize campaigns, using incremental testing
  • Developing product experiments to create and optimize user experiences
  • Driving measurable results through data-informed insights


  • BS or MS degree in a quantitative field (e.g.: statistics, economics, computer science)
  • Strong skills in statistical methods (e.g. hypothesis testing, time series modeling)
  • Good skills with relational databases and SQL
  • At least one programming language (e.g. Python)
  • Experience with data visualization
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to present findings to non-technical audiences
  • Good oral and written skills in English
  • An ability and a willingness to learn new things
  • A true team player

The following points are considered an advantage for the applicant

  • Experience in marketing analytics a big plus
  • Experience in working with a team of data scientists
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (AWS EMR, Spark, Presto, Hadoop, etc.) a plus
