Set your goal – WordDive chooses the right courses for you!

March 14, 2016

Once again, we have improved WordDive’s usability with a handy new feature! You decide what you’re aiming for with your language studies and WordDive tells you which courses you should take. You will now find the necessary courses right away, and the courses’ difficulty level and recommended order will be much easier to perceive.

The new feature is available for all course packages, and you can choose your personal level from the following options:

Basic level

Do you want a strong grounding in basic language skills? This level includes all the basic level courses arranged in different goals. After completing the courses, you will possess a good basic language proficiency, which also serves as a good foundation on which you can build your skills further. The courses will also teach you vocabulary, set phrases and basic grammar necessary for traveling, introducing yourself and basic small talk and the most important expressions you will need at hotel reception, in a shop and in the city.

Intermediate

Pick this as your level if you already know the language basics but need to brush up your language skills. For example, the goals and courses will concentrate on vocabulary, set phrases, and grammar related to work, personal finances, and technology. The aim is to develop your language skills to the level that enables you to manage everyday work situations.

Advanced

Set this as your level if you want to add extra challenge to the goals you have already achieved, or if you already have a good grasp of the language obtained before starting to use WordDive. The studies start where the intermediate level courses left off, and the package includes all the advanced level courses.

You can set your goal on the Exercise page by clicking the big round symbol on top of the course list and then selecting your preferred level and goal in the menu. You can return to change your selection whenever you want. After completing a course, you will see right away which course you should take next.

The new feature is designed to make it easy for you to find the best courses for your personal goals. Of course, you can still pick the courses that interest you the most and study those first. We learn fastest when we’re interested in what we’re learning!
