WordDive Waves

WordDive Newsletter 3/2011

Welcome to the third WordDive newsletter of 2011! There have been many new developments during the past couple of months.

WordDive is the best eLearning solution of the year!

In April, WordDive was chosen as the best eLearning solution of the year in Finland. The personal adaptability of the studying and the rapid spread of the service to over 50 countries convinced the jury. We are happy and proud of WordDive's success, but the most important thing is what you think of the service. If you have suggestions or ideas, please send us feedback and let us know how we can improve even further.

By the way, you can follow WordDive's spreading across the world on the About Us page.

See saw seen? Learn it for free

The new, free English verbs course is a quick way to learn to conjugate English irregular verbs. The course is good not only for learning new things, but also refreshing your knowledge. It has a "fast lane" for those who know some English already: answering with the entire verb theme (e.g. do did done) will equal three correct answers. This way you will get on with the course quickly and be able to concentrate on the verbs you need to practise more.

The verb course is also an excellent way to introduce your friends to WordDive: they can try it out for free and see how it works.

Share your success

You might already have noticed that when an exercise goes well, a Facebook share button appears in the Results window. Before sharing your success on your wall, you can check the message in a preview window, or if you prefer, write a suitable personal message of your own. Who knows, maybe some of your friends study with WordDive too!

WordDive - share your results in Facebook

This May, WordDive says привет!

Preparations for the Russian content are at full speed, and native speakers have already recorded over 1000 study items. Speaking of Russian, did you know that six of the seven Russian "s" sounds are also used in English? In English, you must learn them by heart, but in Russian they all have their own letters. Convenient, isn't it?

If necessary, you can start your Russian studies from the absolute basics: the Cyrillic letters, their pronunciation and typing on a normal Latin keyboard.

The availability of the Russian courses will be announced in our Twitter feed on the main page and on Facebook.

We are glad of your interest in learning a language with us and hope you will keep enjoying WordDive!

Best Regards,

Mika Rajasalo
